Rustler Dining Chair

Crate&Barrel - 2021

A white oak frame with natural banana leaf rattan weaving. The frame is all one diameter and highlights exposed joinery. Stretchers are used to wrap the rattan down the sides of the seat.

Materials: Solid white oak. Natural banana leaf rattan.

The design process began with hand sketching and quickly moved to CAD in order to refine details, proportions, and construction.
